Starry Night

A virtuoso work for an increasingly popular instrumental combination, the title (after Van Gogh's visionary painting The Starry Night) gives a sense of the intensity of this music. Personal memories of Africa are recalled and in particular the sound of music and dancing both near and in the distance all taking place under the vivid starry night sky.
