Melodious Fundamentals

Melodious Fundamentals is a basic book for beginners which deals with the many problems that students are faced with when first introduced to music. Published in separate editions for both Trumpet and Trombone, it has two important under-lying purposes: first, to awaken hidden talent and second, to stimulate a desire for advancement and expression through music, both in individual and in group practice.

Although ideal for the beginning student’s progress, it also possesses unusual advantages for the more advanced student in so far as basic material for transposition is concerned. This is because the range of the material presented is ideally suited for this purpose.

The present trend is teaching through melody. This has been encouraged by prominent conservatories and schools of music and is the basis for this book.
